OB and pediatric calls are bad enough, but trauma from preventable injuries is next level kind of stress. In this class, Jessica will review the most up to date information regarding risk factors for trauma in the OB patient as well as treatment plans for domestic violence, MVC, falls and more. We all want the littlest of our patients to be safe. However, even the most well-meaning adult can make a mistake with safe sleep, car seats and water safety. Jessica will discuss these and many more all while reviewing how to care for these scenes, the patients, family and ourselves.
Human trafficking, modern day slavery, is the fast-growing industry in the world. Let’s take a look at human trafficking from a EMS perspective. As a responder we are most likely the 1st on scene.
