Obstetric patients are some of the most dreaded patients in all of pre-hospital and emergency medicine. In this presentation, Jessica will cover three of the scariest: breech and shoulder dystocia deliveries, and postpartum hemorrhage with prehospital and flight medicine in mind. At the end of this lecture, students will be better equipped to handle these HOLY $^!# situations.

Lady Curiosities: Understanding Menstrual Cycles, Menopause, and Irregularities in Women's Health Issues Hot Flashes, Pesky Infections, Misbehaving Uteri, and Other curiosities of Women's Health
OB and pediatric calls are bad enough, but trauma from preventable injuries is next level kind of stress. In this class, Jessica will review the most up to date information regarding risk factors for trauma in the OB patient as well as treatment plans for domestic violence, MVC, falls and more. We all want the littlest of our patients to be safe. However, even the most well-meaning adult can make a mistake with safe sleep, car seats and water safety. Jessica will discuss these and many more all while reviewing how to care for these scenes, the patients, family and ourselves.
