  • Topics include:

    • Common transfer scenarios – Postpartum hemorrhage, prolapsed cord, infant respiratory distress, and more.
    • Protocols & treatment plans – What EMS and midwives need to know about each other’s practices.
    • Collaboration strategies – How to improve patient care and minimize transport delays.
  • By the end of this session, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of midwifery, EMS protocols, and how to work together for better patient outcomes.

FAQ's about The Combat Midwife™ Workshop!

Do I need to have medical training to attend a Combat Midwife™ Workshop?

Not at all.Whether you're a licensed provider, a homeschooling parent, or simply preparedness-minded, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are. You'll walk away with life-saving knowledge and confidence—no white coat required.

Can men attend the workshop?

Heck Yes!In fact, I encourage it.Many men attend to better support to their wives, daughters, or communities—especially in off-grid, grid-down, or emergency settings. These skills are for everyone who wants to be ready. Psst! Remember I have been teaching military guys for years. If I can keep them engaged, learning and having fun you're going to have a blast!

Is this workshop appropriate for teenagers or young women?

We recommend age 18+ due to the nature of the topics discussed (including sexual assault, birth control, and reproductive emergencies). However, minors may attend with a registered parent or guardian—parental discretion is advised.

I was a homeschooled kid who was obsessed with learning about medicine, especially birth (I know, shocker 😅). So if you’re a parent who feels your minor child would benefit from this kind of education, they are absolutely welcome to attend—under your supervision.

Still unsure? Feel free to reach out to me directly before purchasing tickets. I’d be happy to help you decide what’s best for your family.
📧 ask@combatmidwife.com

Will I get hands-on practice at the workshop?

Absolutely. This isn’t a lecture hall. You'll get hands-on experience with birth simulators, OB kits, herbal remedies, and real-world scenarios to ensure you're prepared when it matters most.

What should I bring to the workshop?

Just yourself, a notebook, a packed lunch—and a readiness to learn! If you’ve purchased a Combat Midwife™ Birth Kit or plan to, we’ll show you exactly how to use it during the course. One of the best parts of this class is the community: you’ll be learning alongside like-minded people who care deeply about preparedness, family, and service. By the end of the day, you won’t just walk away with new skills—you’ll walk away with neighbors you didn’t know you had. And in a crisis, that kind of connection is everything.
